AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - A Texas version of a North Carolina-style "bathroom bill" targeting transgender people again sputtered out Tuesday, leaving Republican Gov. Greg Abbott with little path forward this year over what became one of the most divisive measures in any U.S. legislature.

But Abbott and other powerful Republicans have continued pushing to make Texas the first state to follow North Carolina and impose bathroom restrictions on transgender people in schools and public spaces. LONDON, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Zinc hit another 10-year high on Monday as base metals rallied across the board on the back of a faltering dollar, with expectations that the European Central Bank may start trimming its stimulus programme lifting the euro to a three-year peak.

LONDON, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Budget airline Wizz Air said on Wednesday it had benefitted from the troubles of other airlines to grow more quickly than expected, although concerns over future costs took the shine off record quarterly results.
