FROM EAST

NYS Thruway west to first Rochester exit (#45-- Victor)
Rt 490 west to Exit 14 ( Plymouth, broad)
Quick right off exit ramp onto Spring St. ( if you miss it, just take the next right, Broad St.)
Right off Spring onto Plymouth
Plymouth two blocks to Atkinson
Right onto Atkinson
Take the fifth right off Atkinson (=Clarissa)
Right on Clarissa until dead-ends; you're there!

FROM WEST

[note: this route is recommended, for speed, even anybody coming from Canada, even though it's longer in miles ( oh, alright-- kilometers)
NYS Thruway to FIRST Rochester Exit ( #47--LeRoy). [If you miss 47, follow directions for FROM SOUTH, below]
490 East into Rochester to Exit 12
STAY RIGHT as you exit . [if you bear left by mistake, you'll wind up on The Inner Loop, which is neither a game show nor an old sci first TV series, but a road that circles downtown. If this happens, follow directions on how to get off 490-- which is what you'll be back on-- in FROM EAST, above].
If you did the exit correctly, you will dead-end at Plymouth Avenue....
Turn right onto Plymouth
Plymouth will take you back over Rt 490; two blocks after that hump, turn right onto Atkinson St.
Take the fifth right off Atkinson (=Clarissa)
Take Clarissa to dead-end. You're there!

FROM CANADA

Shoot your way through Customs
[NOTE: foreign anarchists are banned from the US, so for godssake don't tell them the truth at the border!]

IF CROSSING AT NIAGARA FALLS or FT . ERIE:

Take Rt 190 to NYS Thruway East ("Albany")
Follow directions in FROM WEST (above)

IF CROSSING AT QUEENSTON:

Go north to Rt 104 East ( plenty of signage)
Take 104 all the way into Rochester suburbs,
Turn right onto Rt 390 South
Bear left to exit for "Rochester" (Rt 490 east)
Get off at Exit 12 and from this point follow directions in FROM WEST (above)

FROM SOUTH

1. North on Rt 81 to NYS Thruway
Follow directions in FROM EAST (above)
OR
2. North on 390 to exit for Rt 15a (E. Henrietta Rd). Turn right at the top of the ramp onto E Henrietta. [ If you miss the exit for 15a, don't panic-- the next exit is for Rt 15, WEST Henrietta Rd, and they come together.]
North on either of the Henriettas; if you took the first exit, you'll have to bear right a little at the Dunkin'Donuts.
The Henriettas turn into Mt Hope Avenue; keep straight on this
Turn left at the Ford Street Bridge ( it's the first bridge you'll be able to see), cross the Genesee River.
Continue Ford Street, through traffic circle ( watch out; it's new and not everybody knows how to handle them)
Turn right at Troup St, which is the 8th right turn (=second traffic light after the circle)
Turn right off Troup at first block ( =Clarissa). You're there!
