We all know the G20 needs smashed, it's just a matter of doing it responsibly and informedly and making good connections with our comrades beforehand. Fear not! The anarchists of Boston and Pittsburgh, enmeshed in a torrid, revolutionary love affair as they are, are combining their inimitable powers to bring you a weekend of learning, strategizing and schmoozing [without the boozing, if you please].

Proposed Schedule:

Day 1, Saturday, August 16th

10am-4pm, food, new people introductions, networking, organizational tables, presentations and updates from organizations, discussions of anarchism and NEAN, setting an agenda.

4pm-6pm: first agenda topics

6pm-11pm, music and entertainment, presented by the Network of Revolutionary Musicians

August 8th-9th in Philadelphia, PA

Autonomous/ Anti-Authoritarian/ Anarchist People Of Color from across the Northeast (and beyond) are gathering in Philly this summer to build a new vision for the future, and a new plan of action for today. We want to expand our understanding of race, class, gender, autonomy, and freedom - while attacking white supremacy, imperialism, colonialism, and ALL borders, boundaries, and barriers.

THE CONFLUENCE is a week long event where we will come together to share ideas and skills, strengthen our relationships, and create solutions to take care of our basic needs. There will be workshops, performances, trainings and strategy sessions about the issues affecting our communities and our planet, from prisons and police brutality to food sovereignty, health care and disaster relief. It will also include a day of action in coordination with similar gatherings around the world.
